Spring Production Audition Announcement

​

CIRCLE OF LIFE 2026 is a powerful, ceremonial stage production honoring the rhythm, resilience, and return inherent in the human journey. Rooted in ancestral memory and expressed through movement, music, and theatrical storytelling, this production explores the eternal cycle of rise, fall, rebirth, and becoming.

Inspired by the spirit of The Lion King—CIRCLE OF LIFE is a full-scale artistic experience. Dancers are invited into a world where movement becomes ritual, presence becomes power, and the stage becomes sacred ground.

​

This production calls forward artists who are ready to:

• Move with intention and truth

• Train at a high artistic level

• Participate in a disciplined, collaborative rehearsal process

• Step into lineage, leadership, and collective storytelling
   

Auditions for CIRCLE OF LIFE 2026 are now open. Selected performers will be part of an immersive creative process culminating in a visually stunning, emotionally resonant live performance for our community.

​​Audition Date

Saturday, January 24 @ Future of Dance

 

Audition Times (please attend the audition for your highest level of dance)

4PM-5:00PM: Dance Level I

5PM-6:30PM: Dance Levels II + III 

6:30PM-8PM: Dance Levels IV + V

*Dancers may be asked to stay for an additional audition outside of their scheduled time slot. They will be informed prior to leaving if they are needed to stay.  

 

Audition Requirements 

• Must be enrolled in a dance class at Future of Dance in order to audition 

• Must be 6 years old to audition

• Must have strong dance technique and performance quality 

• Please wear a black leotard, skin colored tights, black jazz shoes and hair in a classical ballet bun or ponytail. 

 

Rehearsals 

Rehearsals will be held every Saturday from 4PM-8PM, beginning in February. Not all dancers will be called to every rehearsal.  A cast list and detailed rehearsal schedule will be provided ASAP.  All rehearsals are mandatory.  Participation in this performance is a commitment and requires your dedication.  Missing rehearsals causes great disruption to the other dancers and artistic staff.

Fees

ENSEMBLE PARTICIPATION FEES: $250/student

COSTUME FEES: $150/costume (maximum 4 costumes)
